Emerald C.M.is a family-owned and operated design-build general contractor in Centennial, Colorado. We provide services from the initial design all the way through to final build-outs.

Since our founding in 1985, Emerald has grown steadily from a platform of high-quality work and customer service. Our estimating, sequencing and scheduling of projects involves a variety of computer-based scheduling and job-cost management programs that help trim costs for our customers while enhancing our workflow efficiencies.
President
Charles Cullens is the founding principal and president of Emerald C.M.. A 45-year veteran of the construction industry, Mr. Cullens brings extensive experience to the design-build methodology of construction, and is recognized as one of the pioneers of these services in the Rocky Mountain Region.
Mr. Cullens is very familiar with coordinating multi-disciplinary projects in occupied, secure facilities. Under his guidance, Emerald has managed projects for several medical centers, which involved stringent security requirements and tight regulations concerning the critical nature of the hospitals’ businesses. He has also overseen secure, highly regulated design-build renovation work for the Pepsi Bottling Group.
Chief Operating Officer
Christopher Cullens is the acting Principal and Chief Operating Officer for Emerald C.M. Chris is a local boy who grew up in Aurora, CO and graduated college from Metro State in 2009. Christopher has worked his way up the ranks and has held every position at Emerald before he took over the day to day operations in April 2019.
Christopher has an eye for detail and practices a hands-on approach to project management. He provides principal involvement from inception through completion, ensuring a high level of customer service on each project undertaken by Emerald Construction Management.
