Emerald Construction Management’s in-house project team works closely with the client, design professionals and engineers to develop a reliable schedule and attainable budget. With our proactive approach to areas of concern, we are able reduce risks, build in workflow efficiencies and prevent costly issues that could develop during later phases of the project. The pre-construction process also establishes open lines of communication and lays the foundation for a strong relationship with the client, two priorities that we emphasize on every project.

Emerald’s pre-construction services include:

  • Meeting with clients and key personnel to review project goals, requirements and vision
  • Reviewing preliminary designs, plans and specifications
  • Discussions with the design team regarding the client’s needs
  • Preparing the preliminary conceptual budget and schedule
  • Discussions with local municipalities regarding the requirements for the project
  • Checking the availability of materials and/or equipment
  • Discussions with the client’s specialty vendors regarding the needs of their equipment
